The Roland VS series was introduced in 2010.02.16 as a 64" 8-ink print/cut line. It can be configured in dual-CMYK mode (CMYKCMYK), or with White/Metallic ink (CMYKLcLmWMt), or as a 6-color machine with double CM (CMYKLcLmCM). The VS-640 was introduced with a corresponding update to VersaWorks 4.0, which can handle the silver and white color palettes.
